The Air Jordan 1 Low GS “Reverse Bred” is the youth sizing of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe that mimics the color block of an original colorway of the model. During Michael’s rookie season, he wore a pair of black-and-red Nike Air Ships that were outlawed by the NBA because they violated the league’s uniform policy at the time. The same Chicago Bulls based design would eventually end up on the Air Jordan 1 that Michael also wore, which inspires this Jordan 1 Low. The look of the “Reverse Bred” flips the OG “Bred” by featuring Gym Red leather detailing on the forefoot, mid-panel, eyestay, and heel. Black leather appears on the perforated toe and on the collar and Swoosh detailing on either side of the shoe. A black embroidered “Wings” emblem is on the heel and a red Jumpman is stitched onto the black nylon tongue.
