The Air Jordan 1 Mid GS “Metallic Red” is a Chicago Bulls influenced makeup of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe for kids. Drawing inspiration from the Bulls’ team uniform colors, black, white, and red, the “Metallic Red” is yet another appealing look for the legendary former basketball and current lifestyle silhouette. Here, Jordan Brand places white leather on the perforated toe and on the mid-panel. Black leather appears on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. A matte Metallic Red material graces the Swoosh and ankle panels, while the “Wings” logo also receives the metallic red finish. The modern metallic red hue is slightly “flatter” in shine than that of the metallic red used on the original Air Jordan 1 “Metallic Red” from 1985. A red Jumpman and “Air” branding appear on the black tongue tag stitched onto the white nylon tongue.
