The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Storm Blue” is an original colorway of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe that was re-released in 2016. The “Storm Blue” is one of multiple designs of the retro basketball shoe to originally release back in 1985. A popular look that draws similarities to the Nike Dunk’s “Kentucky” colorway, the “Storm Blue” was never worn by Jordan in the NBA, and didn’t receive a retro release until 2016. The modern “Storm Blue” is nearly identical to the first version of the white-and-blue colorway, as it features white tumbled leather on the perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel. Contrasting Storm Blue leather appears on the overlays and Swoosh branding. A white “Wings” logo is found on the collar and blue “Nike Air” and Swoosh detailing is printed on the white nylon tongue tag on the white nylon tongue. White laces, a white midsole, and a Storm Blue-colored rubber outsole all complete the look. The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Storm Blue” was referenced by Union for the fashion boutique’s Air Jordan 1 “Storm Blue” collaboration in 2018.
