The Air Jordan 12 GS “Reverse Flu Game” is the youth sizing of Michael Jordan’s twelfth signature shoe that resembles an original colorway from 1997. The “Reverse Flu Game” flips the classic black leather upper and red pebbled leather mudguard of the original Jordan 12 worn by Michael throughout the ‘97 NBA Playoffs, most famously during his “Flu Game” performance of Game 5 of the ‘97 Finals. Whereas the original “Flu Game” is complete with a leather upper, the “Reverse Flu Game” features a supple Varsity Red suede construction. The mudguard features a contrasting black pebbled leather design. Additional details, like the black rope laces that sit on top of the red suede tongue with embroidered Jumpman branding, are a call back to the original look of the Jordan 12. Under foot, Jordan Brand places two traction pods on the forefoot and heel between a carbon fiber midfoot plate for stability. Release date: December 26, 2020.
