The Air Jordan 4 GS “DIY” is a youth-sized variation of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature shoe that receives a “do-it-yourself” inspired makeover with abstract details on its panels. Appearing as a “blank canvas” of sorts, the “DIY” version of the vintage basketball shoe features a crisp white tumbled leather upper with black “wings” on either side. The netting that appears on the original Air Jordan 4’s mid-panel is replaced with pen-like imagery on the sides, thus the “do-it-yourself” nickname. The wearer is encouraged to color in the graphics however they like. The shoe retains its original plastic netting on the lower tongue. A black Jumpman is found on the heel and a black Jumpman appears above the word “Flight” on the tongue. Black piping outlines the panels on the upper. The small visible Air bubble in the heel is a true-to-original design component of the original Air Jordan 4.
