The Air Jordan 7 “PSG - Paris Saint Germain” is a collaboration between the Parisian soccer team and Jordan Brand on Michael Jordan’s seventh signature shoe. A May 2021 release, the “PSG” assisted Air Jordan 7 is another chapter in the ongoing collaboration between Paris Saint Germain, a Jordan sponsored soccer team, and Jordan Brand. Interestingly, the “Olympic” Jordan 7 colorway that Michael wore during the ‘92 Summer Olympics in Barcelona while playing for the “Dream Team” inspires the look of this modern release. White tumbled leather forms the base of the shoe and appears on the raised overlay panels on the forefoot and collar. The look is reminiscent of the original “Olympic” Jordan 7. What radically differentiates the two models is the translucent mesh on the mid-panel and collar of the “PSG” design. The original “Olympic” featured white leather on those areas. A metallic gold Jumpman emblem appears on the collar and two-tone navy blue and red leather overlays beneath the branding contrast the look. Classic “Air Jordan” detailing appears on the top of the navy neoprene tongue. A “PANAME” hang tag is found on the bottom of the mesh panel. Release date: May 22, 2021.
